Provenance

The piece entered the museum collection in 1925 along with other works from the collection of Vasiliy A. Stchawinski (1868 – 1924) according to his will. Stchawinski reported that he had bought the piece in 1908 «from the collection of Y. Zabiel`ski, where it had come as a part of the collection of Illin».
